Welcome to the River Falls Powerlifting Club website! We are in the process of migrating the website to a new format, but we wanted to provide you with the most important information about the 2017-2018 season below.
The River Falls Powerlifting Club is open to girls and boys in 7th through 12th grades. Sixth graders are able to participate if they have an older sibling that is also participating. Lifters do not have to be a certain size or be able to lift a certain weight in order to join. Powerlifters compete within their weight class, so ALL body types can compete and win! Powerlifting is a great self-esteem builder, and an excellent foundation for other sports. If you or anyone that you are talking with has questions, please have them contact us. We look forward to growing our River Falls Powerlifting family!

We will be staying overnight in Eau Claire prior to the meet on Saturday. Friday night will be an evening of team building and parent socializing over pizza and bowling. Friday night attendance is not mandatory, but it’s a great opportunity for lifters and parents.
- MARCH 10, 2018 – STATE POWERLIFTING MEET
The State Meet will be held in Mauston, WI this year. We will provide details in the future as they become available.
- MARCH 22-15, 2018 – NATIONAL POWERLIFTING MEET
Nationals will be held in Appleton, WI this year. Additional details to come.
We will do our best to communicate information to you via a variety of formats including email, Facebook, and Twitter. We suggest that you like/follow us in those places in order to stay informed. We are in the process of updating the website to a new platform that will allow quick communication via email and texts to lifters and parents notifying all of any changes to practices and other updates.
OPEN BOARD POSITION/EVENT COORDINATORS NEEDED:
We are currently looking to have someone join the Booster Club Board and take over the Vice President spot at the end of this upcoming season. Our current VP, Ty Oberlin, will be transitioning off the board after this season as his daughter Lizzy finishes her senior year. This person would shadow/assist Ty throughout this season learning the ropes.
Additionally, we will need parent volunteers to help organize and run certain events during the season. The time commitment on these events would vary depending on the number of volunteers, but the main events we host are the River Falls Powerlifting Meet, Year End Banquet, River Falls Days Bench Press Competition, and the Summer Picnic.
Thank you for considering becoming part of the River Falls Powerlifting Club. We are excited for another great season!
